Walking from the Tourist Office in Sablet

We are just 5 minutes walk from the village and Tourist Office.

- From the tourist office walk up to the bar.
- Turn left at the bar, pass by the butchers and go right, down the hill until you reach Rue Georges Bonnefoy.
- Go down Rue Georges Bonnefoy and La Saugie is on the left at the end of the road down the hill.
Coming from Orange/Violes on the D977:

- You will see a 'Sablet 3km' sign just before crossing the River Ouveze and then on the left there is a sand quarry called COPAT.
- Take the right turn for Sablet at the roundabout onto the D23 after 1.5 km
- After you pass the 'D23' sign, take the first turning on the right and we are the first house on the right with the big brown wooden gates. You will see the black and white "La Saugie" sign outside the gates. Please ring the bell.
Coming from Gigondas on the D7

- After entering Sablet and driving under the "Bienvenue a Sablet" sign, turn left just after the pharmacie.
- Drive up the road to the Spar Groceries shop and turn left.
- Continue down the hill and as the road bears to the right around the village, take Rue Georges Bonnefoy on the left. The blue sign for Rue Georges Bonnefoy is high up on the wall on your left.
- Continue down Rue Georges Bonnefoy and we are at the bottom of the hill on the left. You will see the big brown wooden gates and the black and white "La Saugie" sign outside the gates. Please ring the bell.
Coming from Vaison la Romaine on the D977

- Follow the signs for Sablet on the D977 but do not take the first left turn off the D977 for Sablet. Instead, continue for another 1.5 km and take the second left turn into Sablet. This takes you onto the D23
- After you pass the 'D23' sign, take the first turning on the right and we are the first house on the right with the big brown wooden gates. You will see the black and white "La Saugie" sign outside the gates. Please ring the bell.
From Nimes Airport

- Total distance about 90km, should take about an hour
- Take the A54 towards Nimes
- Come off at Junction 25 on to the A9 towards Avignon/Lyon. (Don’t worry about the junction numbers. You get onto the motorway at J2 then you pass J1 then J25)
- Continue for 25 minutes
- Come off at Junction 21 for Vaison-la-Romaine
- Pay toll, go all the way round the roundabout and back onto the motorway
- Take the A7 towards Avignon/Cavaillon/Marseille
- Come off at next junction, Junction 22 for Carpentras and pay toll
- Take 2nd exit at roundabout for Vaison-la-Romaine
- Continue for about 2km then take a left for Vaison-la-Romaine (orange signs)
- Follow signs for Vaison-la-Romaine, through Violes.
- Just after Violes you will see signs for Sablet.
- Follow signs for Sablet
- After about 3km the road bears to the right, you see a “Sablet 3km” sign then you cross the River Ouveze.
- At the roundabout, take the right turn to Sablet onto the D23.
- After you pass the 'D23' sign, take the first turning on the right and we are the first house on the right with the big brown wooden gates. You will see the black and white "La Saugie" sign outside the gates. Please ring the bell.
From Marseille Airport

- Should take about an hour and 15 minutes
- Come out of the Airport and take the A7 motorway heading north for LYON
- Continue north on the A7 for about an hour
- Come off at Junction 22 for Orange Sud and pay toll
- Take 2nd exit at roundabout for Vaison-la-Romaine
- Continue for about 2km then take a left for Vaison-la-Romaine (orange signs)
- Follow signs for Vaison-la-Romaine, through Violes.
- Just after Violes you will see signs for Sablet.
- Follow signs for Sablet
- After about 3km the road bears to the right, you see a “Sablet 3km” sign then you cross the River Ouveze.
- Take the right turn to Sablet onto the D23.
